About me
I am an independent, flexible and responsible administrator in visual arts, with 4 years’ experience in management positions seeking to expand and develop my career further. In the last two years, I worked at senior level in an educational charity with a turnover of more than £0.5m. I have robust understanding of exhibition and events organisation, art commissioning and of working in close relationship with artists, institutions and audiences. I am confident that I will be able to successfully apply my skills in managing and monitoring processes and procedures, in coordinating and overseeing staff and in marketing and communications that will all result in strengthening institutional outcomes.

Participants, aged between 9 and 65 years old, were on each outing challenged to present their practices in 6 minute slots. They were required to spend half of their allocated time in demonstrating their work, while in the second half, the audience was encouraged to critically analyze their expositions. The consequent result was a non-hierarchical discussion where the roles of presenters and audiences constantly interchanged

  • Talking about Exhibitions - Seminar Series, Royal College of Art, London
Talking about Exhibitions - Seminar Series, Royal College of Art, LondonAlongside Margrethe Trosengaard and Yuval Etgar, I organised and led a seminar series called “Talking About Exhibitions”. Conceived as an opportunity for graduate students from across the institution to examine particular aspects of exhibiting their practice. Seminars offered a critical and creative framework through which researchers and practitioners could consider their work in relation to public display. Distributed into six sessions, this programme engaged with four key tropes: vitrine, plinth, room, and audiences. These terms served as points of departure for the discussions and were approached through a combination of readings, frontal lectures, presentations, and conversations with prominent artists and researchers. Speakers included artists Nikita Alexeev and Daniel Silver.

    MA Curating Contemporary Art
     -
The MA Curating Contemporary Art Programme approaches the field critically, theoretically and through best practice in commissioning, exhibition-making, programming and writing with London-based and national arts venues ensuring that the knowledge and understanding of these practices is grounded in the context of public audiences, globalisation and the digital. In the increasingly complex cultural environment which curating takes place, research-led teaching by staff and post-doctoral students ensures the curatorial significance, intellectual value and critical vitality of the MA programme. Research focus: Methods of temporary artistic and curatorial practices that occurred during the period of the Moscow Conceptualism and the possible implications these have on contemporary production strategies of art exhibition making.
