About me
I'm a product designer graduating from Central Saint Martins this year.
I worked as a designer in different countries (Russia, Germany, UK) and learned different approaches to projects.
I'm curious about science, technology, architecture, society and human beings. I'm happy that this curiosity is an important part of my profession.
Projects
- Invvisibile, desk light for ArtemideThe brief from italian lighting company Artemide asked to design a domestic light. Primary research showed that desks are multitasking and very messy. Light desks usually have bulky bases, what obstracts valuable working surface. Invisibile light has an ultrathin base. That allows to put books, cups and etc. on top of it and use desk surface more efficiently.
- Sense, haptic navigatorWearable haptic navigator for blind and sighted people, self initiated project. One of the biggest problem for blind people is mobility, The navigator solves that problem in the more appropriate for blind people way. On the video I'm guiding the blind guy using the functional prototype. I send directions to the receiver. Receiver with servo-motor is placed on the blind person palm. Palms are very sensitive and rotations of servo-motor horn is understand and 'translated' intuitively in the relevant body turn. In the final product directions will be sent from the GPS app installed on the phone.
