I work as a marketing consultant & copywriter mainly for boutique and artisan food businesses and restaurants, but I've been known to work for the occasional non-profit, arts organisation and start-up. I'm just passionate about doing interesting work with interesting people.

- Copywriting & digital coordination for BEE MidtownAs part of a team deployed by the Hoxby Collective, I provided digital marketing support and reporting to BEE, Holborn's Business Improvement District. I then moved onto writing web content and marketing assets, for example writing CEO emails supporting BEE's homelessness campaign and local sustainability strategies. I also created up-to-the-minute social media content about events held in conjunction with the Evening Standard.
- Thought leadership and internal comms for DeloitteIn August 2018, I joined Deloitte's Future of Work team via the freelance Hoxby Collective. I was part of the team for 3 months, producing a report on the future of contingent talent and the gig economy in the UK. I also assisted with internal communications, sending out COO-level updates to partners.
- Corporate brochure and case studies for Ugly DuckPart building manager, part curator, Ugly Duck revitalises underused spaces and supports emerging artists and community groups. I wrote their corporate brochure, information pack and case studies. These documents are aimed at commercial landlords and estate agents in the hopes of acquiring new properties to manage.
- Cookbook and recipe writing for the World Avocado AssociationCommissioned by the agency Gh05t, I helped write, proof and polish the WAC's latest cookbook, making sure it was adapted for UK and EU audiences. As the recipes were developed by a food stylist & influencer whose first language is not English, I wrote the recipe descriptions, introductions and book foreword and proofed and rewrote recipes as necessary for clarity, consistency and tone. - Lifestyle pieces, press releases and more for CCD PRNestled amongst the lively eateries of Greek Street, CCD PR has made a name for itself as a premium PR agency for brands in the healthy food and lifestyle sector, representing big players like Itsu and artisanal brands like Seggiano or Clearspring. I helped CCD PR in a busy time when they were taking on new clients and recruiting for full-time staff. - Communications for the Centre for Homelessness ImpactStill in start-up phase, the Centre for Homelessness Impact has been created by Crisis and Glasgow Homelessness Network to advocate for evidence-based solutions to homelessness. I joined to support the development of the annual communications strategy, to write boilerplate content for various channels and to design an editorial calendar for the team to implement.
