Mina Tahir is an Egyptian-American fashion designer whose design sensibility seamlessly blends her heritage, artwork, and textiles with the past, present, and future.
Her work is largely focused on exploring the nuances and dynamic relationship between East & West.
She is a graduate of the BFA Fashion Design program at Parsons School of Design and was awarded the CFDA Future Fashion Graduate (showcased at NYFW Mens July 2018), as well as, the CFDA+ Award for her thesis collection *[“Youth”](https://www.minatahir.com/ss18-youth)* which explores the relationship between Eastern and Western subcultures through the use of technological advances via the re-contextualization of traditional crafts and dress.
In 2021, Mina Tahir was named one of the *Debut Talent* finalists for the *Fashion Trust Arabia Award* for her namesake brand. Her work has been featured in Vogue Italia, Harper’s Bazaar, Marie Claire, GQ, and others.
