About me

I am a visual artist with a BA in sculpture. Since 2005 I have worked as a cultural journalist for the Romanian Public Television network, at first as a field reporter, building up to anchor, editor, producer, voice-over and live news broadcaster. At the same time, I pursued my passion for visual arts, exhibiting in many group exhibitions in Romania, as well as two solo shows in Bucharest and Arad. For the past few years I have also worked as a book editor for RAO Publishing House, one of Romania's leading publishing houses, contributing to a number of titles, from children's books, young adult literature and fantasy novels, to historical fiction. I am currently an Executive Producer for the Romanian Public Television's TVR3 channel, but I am always interested in new professional challenges.

  Eminescu (2014)Documentary film about romanian poet Mihai Eminescu, seen through the eyes of several past and present romanian cultural figures, using archive and present day footage. The film was awarded Best Culture Programme in 2014 by Romania's Association of TV Professionals (APTR).
• Arte, carte și capriciiWeekly culture news tv magazine, hosted by Liana Stanciu, on Romanian Public Television (TVR) channel TVR3. The show first aired in september 2014, and it's been on air ever since.
