  • OPTIBET ‘ EURO 2020 ’
OPTIBET ‘ EURO 2020 ’You don’t put a 24-feet football goal on the ice during the hockey game unless you’re shooting a TV commercial about how everyone went crazy about football. If I needed to give MVP-award to someone from my film crew for this ad, I would end up with multiple MVPs: 1. Producer 100% MVP – made sure I get everyone I want on a film crew. 2. Scout manager 100% MVP – after gazillion calls organised absolutely fantastic sport hall for us. 3. DOP 100% MVP – I was thinking on set about an angle and h
  • ALFA ‘ ANNIVERSARY ’
ALFA ‘ ANNIVERSARY ’A short commercial for shopping centre ALFA. I was screaming from happiness when I got the brief: the agency wanted to show different characters, different life moments that take place in ALFA everyday. I was like "YEAH! BIG SHOPPING CENTRE! BIG BUDGET! BIG AD!". I was wrong. I was big-wrong. In the end I had a very-limited-budget and very-unlimited-expectations. A small crew, almost no lights and a short filming day. Luckily, good planning helped us to squeeze out the maximum we could from the

PMLOOKS ‘ WHEN THE COLORS START TO CHANGE ’Before jumping into film director's chair and I had to pick up a camera and learn how to film, how to edit, how to grade in order to built a portfolio to get on the agency radars. I did a lot of fashion work and felt in love with this type of work. And always happy to pick a camera once awhile. I was approached for a short video for fashion brand PMlooks. Nothing fancy. Just couple of shots with a model in the streets. And here where my director's blood stepped in. I decided to add more characte
  • ELVI ‘ UNBOXING ’
ELVI ‘ UNBOXING ’Series of commercials for product stores ELVI. It is about a typical dad who decided to start video food blog. And if in social media he is a real star, at home he becomes a real catastrophe. It was a fun project to do. We shot 12 commercials over 2 days. I worked closely with the agency on scripts. My main goal as a director was to make sure that each script features also a visual joke. Surely, casting played a crucial role. Over 2 weeks I cast over 20 actors for dad's role. And couldn't be hap

  • ' 337 '
' 337 'One of my favourite projects so far. There was no budget, no expectation, no client, no pitching, no drama. Nothing. Just a friend, 11 years boy who asked my to make a short simple video how he drives on the motorcross track. I said "OK, BUT WE WILL DO IT MY WAY". I never did a sports video before, but I knew that I want to experiment with the editing, same as I usually do within the fashion format. We spent 2 hours on the track and 2 hours in the woods. I was pretty satisfied with the footage b
