  • Hello Hypochondria Campaign
    Hello Hypochondria CampaignI began my campaign called 'Hello Hypochondria' in university to spread awareness of hypochondria. I created images, posters and text to raise awareness in my university of this mental health disorder. Using Photoshop & InDesign, I created a pamphlet that explained as much as possible to a student audience. I gained a high first in this campaign and plan on carrying it on.

    Editor of STU (Print)STU, before going online, was made in print. I was the editor of the print edition also. It was my role to make sure everybody was confident with their job roles and deadline. I also worked with the creative director on InDesign to create the final layout. I interviewed some great foodies, including GBBO contestants, alcohol & drug services, food start-ups and more.

    STU Editor (Online)STU is a student led food and drink magazine & website. Ran by six girls, I am the editor and it is my duty to make sure everything is running fluently and professionally. We showcase great chefs, great places to eat and drink, events, and food in the news. I created the STU website and made sure that the social media was covered to promote the articles and our talented writers.

    Contracted into a cancer research funding organisation to implement a social media strategy and build a week-by-week content calendar to present academic research to the lay community. I built a working tool to track and report our analytics, focusing on an increase in reach, clicks and engagement. Through building a strong relationship with partner institutions, I created and curated content that was designed to optimise SEO for their target audience. Part of the role was to mentor the organisation government board on social media best practice, how to use their CMS and Google Analytics. I developed business and marketing materials to use both internally and externally. I also worked very closely with the web hosting company to develop a mobile and user-friendly website. Achievements: • 300% increase in reach in a period of a week • 40% increase in memberships • 100% increase in engagement in the space of a week
