About me
I am a Theatre and Creative Writing graduate who is based in London and Colchester. Aspiring to learn how to copywrite and ultimately aiming to become a screenwriter for both film and television, I am excited to explore these career paths and develop and discover new skills along the way.
My fiction writing can be considered to be dark, horror-inspired, and occasionally comedic whilst I also have the ability to write non-fiction, commerical information.
So far my written work has been published in two creative academic anthologies and I constantly look for new opportunities to get my work out there. I am currently developing my writing portfolio to showcase my very best work and the array of styles I can produce.

Marketing InternRapid Electronics

As part of one of my university modules, I undertook a 3-week placement at Rapid Electronics in the Marketing department. I worked closely with the company's Education team and I wrote, designed, and produced a product guide marketing to primary and secondary schools and the brochure has since gone into use at the company. I also wrote several other marketing documents which are currently circulated by the company. Another of my main tasks was editing landing pages for the company's website - writing product descriptions in order to attract customer attention.
Working at Rapid was a rewarding experience as it allowed me to develop my time management skills, how to write to a restricted brief, and various technological skills. I also feel it helped me push through my difficulties of asking for help from my peers and encouraged me to trust in my own opinion and ideas. I think I produced work I was proud of and have achieved what I set out to do – expand my own skills and build more confidence in the workplace. I believe I created a longstanding and impressive relationship with Rapid and they have offered me freelancing creative writing work after I graduate.

I have recently graduated after my three years of study at Brunel University, achieving a 2:1 Upper Class Honours. Studying a joint degree in Theatre and Creative Writing, I had modules in the following: Acting, Canon: Reloaded, Directing, Writing Film and Television, Professional Skills and Development, Genre Writing, and undertook screenwriting project dissertation.
My studies have developed my ability to complete creative projects under time constraints, helped further my research skills and have given me the opportunity to work with other individuals of varying skill sets and confidence.
