Hello! My name is Monica, I'm a Mexican creative currently living in London. I'm an adventurer, dreamer, team player, systemic thinker and a reliable professional. I believe in creating beautiful, sustainable, emotion-driven experiences that trigger passionate engagement.   Norwegian WoodShortlisted book cover proposal for Murakami’s Norwegian Wood as part of the Student Award - Penguin Random House 2019.
• Doce DeseosI had the pleasure of designing the visual identity for Doce Deseos, a Mexican artisan-biscuits brand. The design is based on Jessica Camino’s (founder) intention to create a “human” trademark that embraces the idea of mindfulness. With this in mind, I created a communication strategy based on bespoke illustrations that combine a hand-made look and feel with product photography whilst welcoming the Doce Deseos’ range or reds. @DoceDeseos I docedeseos.com
• The Emotional Adventures of BôSet of didactic materials and activities designed to help develop children’s emotional intelligence. Based on the the RULER method, this product’s aim is to encourage a healthy family bonding time while learning how to name, regulate and identify emotions.

I was shortlisted for my book cover design for Murakami's "Norwegian Wood" as part of the Penguin Random House Student Award 2019.
ShortlistedAdobe
I was shortlisted, as part of a small team representing Anahuac University, for the Adobe Challenge Mexico in 2016. The challenge was to design a creative concept and represent it visually on a 3D model of the Adobe "A" logo. As a shortlisted participant I was invited, by Adobe Mexico, to attend the 2016 Adobe Max in San Diego, California.
