About me
Hello!
My name is Monica, I'm a Mexican creative currently living in London. I'm an adventurer, dreamer, team player, systemic thinker and a reliable professional. I believe in creating beautiful, sustainable, emotion-driven experiences that trigger passionate engagement. I have experience working in creative agencies (editorial & branding development), corporate environments as well as freelance projects.
Projects
- Doce DeseosI had the pleasure of designing the visual identity for Doce Deseos, a Mexican artisan-biscuits brand. The design is based on Jessica Camino’s (founder) intention to create a “human” trademark that embraces the idea of mindfulness. With this in mind, I created a communication strategy based on bespoke illustrations that combine a hand-made look and feel with product photography whilst welcoming the Doce Deseos’ range or reds. @DoceDeseos I docedeseos.com

This programme challenged my perceptions about illustration and design. The course enhanced my patterns of research and gave me the tools to develop specific visual methods, useful to unravel different briefs. As a graphic designer, this course helped me put in practice my leadership skills and helped me establish a strong portfolio based on a structured working process and successful research.

I was shortlisted, as part of a small team representing Anahuac University, for the Adobe Challenge Mexico in 2016. The challenge was to design a creative concept and represent it visually on a 3D model of the Adobe "A" logo. As a shortlisted participant I was invited, by Adobe Mexico, to attend the 2016 Adobe Max in San Diego, California.+ Show more
