- Budget allocation and management by tracking and monitoring the financial plans of the company

- Graphic and web design skills by designing the promotional materials, building the company’s website
- Team building and leadership skills acquired from recruiting, training and supervising the receptionists

The course enhanced my critical skills and reflexive practices in community leadership through community immersion. It applied experimental learning about leadership for social actions. During this course I received workshops and trainings which developed my following skills: facilitating group processes, asset mapping, fundraising and grant writing and understanding of employment in the public and non-profit sector.

During the summer school I studied modules such as ‘China’s Strategy and Stratagem in World Politics’ and ‘The history of American Journalism’ taught by both Chinese and American lecturers, which gave me an insight into different educational approaches from around the world and made me understand the mutual dependence between education and culture.
