I have been a Graphic Designer for the past 10 years. On finishing my degree in Graphic Design at Elisava, I went on to work for a publicity agency based in Barcelona. After two years, I then decided to move to London to study a Master in Photojournalism. Photojournalism is an area that has always interested me for a number of reasons: I was keen to show news stories within an ethical framework in an honest and impartial way. I also worked as Art Director for a London based company, thus further developing my skills in website design, communications and corporate branding. For the past 4 years I have been employed as Graphic Designer and subsequently as Marketing & Design Coordinator at Intercruises Shoreside & Port Services (part of TUI GROUP), an established global business working in the fields of Ocean and River Cruises. During my time at the company, my abilities and experience increased considerably, not only in the area of Design and Marketing, but also in the coordination and implementation of projects.
Responsible for designing and managing the delivery and implementation of the correct branding worldwide, as well as sourcing, managing and producing all merchandise, coordination of events worldwide, planning and delivery of projects, such as main cruising events, Gap Analysis or Marketing Campaigns.
Design and coordination of Christmas campaign for charity. Promotional material, social media, communications, planning and control of income, purchase of assets and distribution. 200 new books were purchased and distributed to children in need in orphanages, schools and NGOs in the Catalunya area. The aim was to introduce or reinforce reading habits among the young.
