Programming short and feature films, artists moving image, performance and art for this queer film festival in London’s East End, hosting Q&As; representing the festival to sponsors, partners and external stakeholders; producing screening events; managing rights and prints transport; managing talent.

Researching, programming, rights management, print copy co-ordination, and on-site supervision for screening and workshop activities at this pop-up cinema project which aims to take audiences on a journey through the history of cinema through multimedia performance, innovative programming, lush decor, workshops and live events at music festivals around the UK, attracting more than 20,000 visitors to 80 films and events each season.
Project-based freelance and day work on sporadic events at BAFTA, including venue management, guest coordination, event set up and production.
Designing, coordinating construction, and daily operations for an outdoor pop-up cinema tent in central London. Managing a staff of ticketing coordinators, technicians, FoH volunteers and security for the 6-day festival.
Creating and managing a bespoke pop-up bar and pop-up cinema at this unique boutique doc fest in the fields, barn and stables of a farm in rural Kent.
Coordinating all aspects of the on-site day-to-day running of the festival in the venue, including: briefing venue management and staff, introducing screenings, welcoming and taking care of talent and festival VIPs, liaising with cars team, overseeing the execution of marketing materials, supervising ticket sales staff, acting as a first point of contact for information at the venue and providing final reports to festival producers and venue managers.
Assisting in the set-up and execution of expanded cinema performance in "Barbara Hammer: The Fearless Frame" events and retrospective season, guest list management, and assisting Q&As.
Rights management for film and music across the company, ensuring delivery of material for sales and exhibition, managing a network of international partners in 13 countries, negotiating sales and acquisitions contracts, managing online channel content, facilitating social media strategy, first point of contact for all enquiries, co-ordinating national branded campaigns, guest-list management, and recruiting and managing interns.
Originally part of the steering group, I took over temporary management on this project, programming films, planning and managing events and workshops, and leading the youth steering group to inspire young people to get involved in film at the BFI.
A course designed to give a theoretical, historical and practical approach to the intersecting worlds of film festivals, cinema programming, film distribution, the proliferation of online film viewing and the exhibition of artists working in the moving image both within the cinema and gallery. Final project: creating the film, performance and events programme for a traveling picture palace presenting 64 films, 3 workshops and 2 live cinematic scores to 5,000 visitors over 4 days.
Interdisciplinary studies within a liberal arts environment focusing on literary theory and literature, as well as a concentration on film theory with cultural studies covering American studies, queer theory, philosophy and art history.
