Working solely with the Stand Up to Cancer team. I developed assets for the Great British Bake Off, WHSmith VR Headset and both online and print material. During the campaign period.
During my time at Crisis. I worked on developing the creative concept for the Crisis at Christmas campaign. Producing artwork for print and social. The material produced was placed in Crisis Centres during Christmas.
In September 2017, I started a full-time role at Cancer Research UK (CRUK). My role in CRUK was split between two teams. I created online, print and video content for CRUK’s events team. This consisted of me working on their Race for Life, Shine Walk, Tough 10 and Sports events. I was also the sole designer creating content for CRUK’s ‘Stand Up to Cancer’ campaign. I produced artwork and video content which was used by partners such as Channel 4 for TV shows such as, Great British Bake Off and Googlebox.
In 2015 I went back to Islamic Relief as both a designer and art director for their major campaigns, Ramadan and Qurbani. The artwork was for Islamic Relief’s emerging offices internationally. After working on Qurbani and Ramadan, I continued working in the Marketing team within the UK office creating artwork for all campaigns and leading in art direction.
My role in Oxfam consisted of working with a copywriter on share graphics to feature on all of Oxfam’s social media channels.
RAW is Rufus Leonard’s internship for creatives. As one of five interns selected from hundred nationwide, I developed new skills in both UX and copywriting. Over three months I worked on projects for brands such as Royal Mail, AA, Compare the Market, Coca-Cola, Lloyds’ Banking Group and internal projects.
I spent two weeks at Comic Relief. In this space of time I led the art direction for the IF Campaign, working from initial design sketches to final artwork. The campaign posters were placed throughout London Underground.
During my month at VCCP I worked with the design team. I pitched concepts to clients such as BGL, Unilever and o2. This gave me both confidence and understanding in dealing with clients.
In 2012 I was part of a filming expedition in both Niger and Indonesia where I was a documentary photographer capturing footage for Islamic Relief UK’s Ramadan and Qurbani campaigns. I worked in Islamic Relief as a designer, working on both print and digital campaigns.
