I have experience working in agencies and charities such as Wieden + Kennedy, Rufus Leonard, VCCP, Oxfam and Comic Relief. My love for design has driven me to connect with various projects and organisations around the world.
My role at Oxfam consisted of working with a copywriter in the design team. We worked on a host of digital media for all their current social media platforms
I one of five interns selected from hundreds working on developing my skills in UX, Design and copywriting. Over three months I worked on projects for brands such as Royal Mail, AA, Compare the Market, Coca-Cola, Lloyds Banking Group and internal projects.
During my month at VCCP I worked with the design team. I pitched concepts to clients such as BGL, Unilever and O2. This gave me both confidence and understanding in dealing with clients.
I led the art direction for the IF Campaign working from initial design sketches to final artwork. This campaign was placed throughout London Underground.
In 2012 I was a part of a filming expedition in both Niger and Indonesia where I was a documentary photographer capturing images that would communicate with the people back in the UK. My work with Islamic Relief developed, entitling me to capture footage in countries such as Afghanistan, Lebanon, Pakistan, and Yemen. I used my footage creating Magazines, Postcards, Billboards, Web Material, Posters and Flyers for all their campaigns as a junior designer.
Researched for future campaigns for Nike Jog App and Lurpack adverts. Also assisted on a Nokia advert, and obtained a range of tips from experienced individuals in the workplace.
Shadowed another graphics design. Learning about the company and how to command yourself in a workplace. I also received an in depth lesson in Adobe Illustrator
