  • I am responsible for creating design solutions that have a high visual impact. The role involves effectively liaising with the client and understanding their requirements to develop a design brief from which I must generate creative concepts and ideas which meet the client’s objectives. Previous work has included designs for a wide range of products and activities such as websites, advertising, branding, magazines, posters, product packaging, exhibitions and displays.

  • Working within a team I was responsible for managing several projects whilst ensuring tight deadlines were achieved. I managed the design team by coordinating and organising all workflow and implementing design processes. Also I was responsible for supervising production by liaising internally and externally with both staff and customers, ensuring all jobs were monitored through their project cycle. I was involved in leading and developing design projects as well as assisting the marketing team with creativity and analysis of global clients.

  • As a design engineer I specialised in providing bespoke quality engineered products whilst designing for manufacture and assembly. Products were risk assessed at the design stage and the designs were produced in accordance with the appropriate European Standard (BS EN directives). The products were designed for safety, integration, standardisation, low maintenance, easy use and low cost life cycle.
