Work history
Sampling & Product Developing Assistant
I am currently working as a sampling and product developing assistant for luxury womenswear brand Atea Oceanie. The role involves pattern cutting, toiling, creating samples, research and delivering a collection under very strict deadlines. I work very closely with the machinists, as well as the design and pattern cutting team. Although we sample the majority of the collection in house, we also prepare packs for out of house factory sampling. It is a role that is heavily reliant on organizational skills, accuracy and problem solving in order to stick to the tight deadlines.
