Hi I’m Nancy, I’m a new graduate from UAL where I studied BA:Hons Fashion Embroidery. During this time I fell in love with the world of costume and have followed that path, having been a costume assistant for Jack Irving but also doing my own freelance costume/styling work. My life is driven by vintage, reworking and designing garments. I have a keen eye for detail and embellishing, with the majority of my work having strong graphic accompaniments, either free hand machine embroidery or designed on CAD. I love to push boundaries and create the unexpected.

- MEDIA SHOWERVanity breeds contagion. "Media Shower" was intended to be a photoshoot depicting the spread of Media into our lives and how we so easily and obliviously take it in everyday but as the idea developed a short film felt more appropriate in the story telling. As the short film progresses, the consumer becomes more and more immersed in the media world, its influence spreading over her whilst she remains completely unaware. - TREND SPREADERA journey into the mind of the overwhelmed. The layered imagery confuses the watcher and doesn’t allow the eye or mind to comfortably settle, an erratic and relentless commentary on the onslaught of media outlets in the modern world, the footage, music and choreography are intended to make the viewer feel somewhat uncomfortable and extremely overwhelmed. The same way most of us often feel when faced with the bombardment of information modern technology gives us access too today but I feel it is
