I arrived into London from my home country of Australia in 2002, with the dream of attending the Antwerp Academy. After an internship with Walter Van Beirendonck in 2004 in Antwerp Belgium I applied for the academy and was accepted. In 2004 to 2008 I completed the Royal Academy of Arts Antwerp ( Fashion Design ) course. A challenging course where I learnt to work under pressure and complete work to a deadline. Alongside this I learnt the valuable skills of research and design development, creating atmosphere, drawing, building silhouettes, textile development and seeing an idea to its end. After graduating I worked as freelance fashion designer for a Furest, Spain and for a knitwear label in Belgium from 2008 - 2011. From 2011 -2013 I worked on my self-titled collection narelle dore presenting four collection during Paris Fashion Week, the label was a multi disciplinary label that communicated itself through events and installations . And since 2013 - 2016 I worked as a design teacher at Polimoda, Florence, Italy. Since 2013 I have been in a collaborative project titled Earth.Rope.Pot.Plant that utilize all the materials in the title. The project has expanded and collaborates now directly with shops to create unique handcrafted pieces. Clients include: Atelier Solarshop, Antwerp. N id Deux Tokyo, Japan, Beklina, California, US. My strengths include: team work, collaboration, research and mood development, technical sheets, colour research and combinations, materials research and development, textile development, design, development and realization, working with my hands.

After completing an internship with Walter Van Beirendonck in 2003 I applied for the Royal Academy of Arts in Antwerp, Belgium, I was accepted and started in 2004. It was a wonderful intensive four year course where I was challenged creatively to work and complete under pressure and deadlines. The skills and approach I learnt from the competitive environment laid a foundation for what would follow in my professional experience. Each year gave a new challenge in drawing, pattern cutting, silhouette forming, research, textile experimentation, research, design and development, communication through photos, objects and installations.
