I am currently a recent graduate from Falmouth University with a 2:1 BA honours degree in Creative Events Management and have always been passionate about the Events industry. That which university has confirmed my love for by taking part and organising my own events throughout using selling techniques in order to attract the public to attend . With gaining many experiences in various fields in the events industry from festivals to weddings to corporate. I feel the wide range of expertise I have in the domain of the events industry and adapting the sale to each has grown substantially. In addition having incorporated marketing in all my projects in order to attract as many of the target market to my events has grown my knowledge in the marketing sector. Furthermore modifying the marketing to my projects to the target market has expanded my skills in understanding clientele requirements and the material of marketing that reaches out to the customers creating further profit. In which is a key aspect in the industry in order to promote and create further sales continuously preserving a well rounded reputation. The industry is an area that fits my personality in my everyday life as I am a very sociable and organised person. Meaning tasks and jobs that need to be accomplished will be done in the specified time frame. Being experienced in sales is an advantage as I have worked from retail to selling my events to the target market bringing to a company long term benefits. Having worked in retail promoting a product or negotiating was always carried out. Presenting my events to the public in selling tickets was accomplished including following an internship for a fashion PR company Back PR during London Fashion week meant the opportunity in selling designers new and upcoming styles for the next season, to the clientele attending the events. Keeping relations with stakeholders and partners involved in the projects have always been carried through in potential future projects going ahead once more with the same partnerships. Updating on any changes that occurred on the events or marketing side was notified and communicated well through to a various number of stakeholders. Creating the planning and tasks to run smoothly and efficiently leading up to the event. Working under pressure is a trait I exceed in as well as being flexible to adapt to situations. The usage of technology throughout my event planning have been substantial through using social media for marketing or getting in contact with fellow stakeholders. On top of using programmes such as Powerpoint and Excel for design processes and budgeting. Logistics and finance are both sectors I have worked closely with in past projects as having held my own events controlling budgets and breaking even were always carried out. Working in a team is a confident area that I am highly used to as well as taking initiative on my own. Having worked in the events industry for most of my time has made me a professional in the domain which makes it compatible. However I am still keen to learn and expand my skill sets. Having the experience, knowledge I have gained over time will contribute to the work being carried out and provide the best possible outcome to the organisation. In addition my creativity will bring further ideas and designs for marketing campaigns and selling techniques . In which will potentially attract further brands/ clients as well as being a confident speaker interacting with potential sponsors/partners will be carried out. My international upbringing has provided me with a vast knowledge of cultural places, which I am able to apply in understanding a wide range of demographics. Including being a bilingual in French and English reaching out to a wider clientele.
