I started out as a professional musician and have played for artists and in bands signed to XL Recordings, Vertigo, Laissez Faire Club, Columbia Records and Universal. After years of touring and recording, I found myself moving towards other creative outlets.
Like many of those who find themselves in advertising, I fell into it. I liked the idea of a career that embraced creativity, harnessed and enhanced my writing, and would surround me with infinitely more talented people.
Fast-forward: I've been an award-winning creative for 12 years: working on some of the world's biggest brands, including Nike, adidas, GANT, ASOS, Puma, DAZN, Guinness, Rimmel London, Diet Coke, Air France and Uber.
My agency experience includes 72andSunny, adidas (in-house), BETC, AKQA, KNAS Creative, OLIVER Agency, Grey London, DAZN Creative and Ogilvy.
I now freelance in both advertising with my creative partner Alfons Valls, and do session work within the music industry. Outside of London, I've worked in Amsterdam, Paris, Portland and Tokyo.

Projects
- Santander: Matchday MothersWe wanted to show that the beautiful game is changing. The view that this is a 'man's game' is outdated and redundant. So, we went to Brazil and drew attention to two of the nation's most diehard clubs' Palmeiras and Flamengo female fans. Not only this, but we wanted to capture the moment these football-loving mothers introduced their children to the game for the very first time.
- adidas X Black Panther: Wakanda ForeverIn celebration of adiClub Member’s Week and their Black Panther collab, we created a movie-themed workout experience that took its cues from the film’s action-packed sequences. We shot it in a unique Los Angeles’ location that felt otherworldly – like Wakanda – to create an unmistakably adi real-world interpretation of the Marvel Universe. Featuring football star Paul Pogba and shot by Jeremiah Pitman in the Goldstein Residence in Los Angeles.
- Lewis Hamilton X Vodafone 5GTo showcase Vodafone’s 5G capabilities, we created a film featuring Formula 1 champion (and piano enthusiast) Lewis Hamilton, as he duets with renowned musician and producer, Jay Keyz – using two specially built 5G pianos from two different locations. Connected thanks to 5G, the duo are able to play along together and interact like never before.
- Dance Lessons 'New Job'Before adland, I was a professional musician. No longer touring, I do still take on session work and make time for his own project: Dance Lessons. This is a music video for my band’s single ‘New Job’. It was shot and directed by Sarah Chatfield in Los Angeles during the Covid lockdown, filmed entirely on her iPhone. It features real-life couple Gbari 'GQ' Gilliam and Shantel Ureña choreographing a stunning dance through deserted streets and neighborhoods.
