I am an award winning Photographer (Speedo Design Awards), Camera Technician, and Retoucher especially interested in the fitness and health industries. I regularly photograph still life products on site for e-commerce alongside lifestyle photography. Other commissions include event photography, head shots and portraiture. Alongside my own commissions I assist Photographers and Media production companies with both still and moving image. I am a member of the Direct Photographic Assistants course and I have completed their industry standard lighting course.
Working with a team of stylists and models I photographed large quantities of high quality imagery for the website. Responsibilities included but not limited to the following. • Preparation of images for the Selfridges Online Store using Adobe Photoshop to an advanced level. • Founding member and treasurer for the online social committee. • Organising various fundraising, networking and team building events for the division on time and on budget . • Stimulating inter-departmental relationships through photographic intiatives. • Retouching images to required specifications including a wide variety of fashion and stills imagery. The ability to change colours, crop, cut-out, remove unwanted detail and create shadows • Retouching editorial/creative imagery for Selfridges website as well as email newsletters • Updating Spin-Me software (comments & statuses) appropriately, applying best practices • Stringent checks to styling/retouching guidelines correction if required • Liaising with retouching manager, raising any potential problems/issues encountered within workflow • Troubleshooting department queries, liaising with team members and line managers
Assisting role to the busy production team at the leading creative retouching, CGI & Animation agency. Collating marketing data and research for various partnerships as well as new business leads, including data entry in Microsoft office and use of specific project management software. Designated weekly one on one training with a multitude of artists dealing with high-end global campaigns, art directors and photographers.
Head of contemporary portrait studios post production department dealing autonomously with all imagery passing through the studio for client production as well as marketing material. Valid member of the studio's photography and design team. Post Production - Use of Adobe Photoshop, Capture One and Studio Plus. - Preparing slideshows, digital work-flow, colour correction, quality control and preparation for print. -Daily communication with offsite printing laboratory and FTP systems. Photography - Preparation of digital studio for shoots including lighting, camera and lens maintenance. - Communication and diary management with clients in briefing for upcoming appointments. - Shooting up to 8 sessions a day. - Contributor to weekly meetings with statistics, sales and target data Design Consultant - Designing, pricing & selling, bespoke wall products in face-to-face consultations. - Approving retouching requests for specific image manipulation.

Natalie Theobald (Photography) Winner in the Photography Category Natalie submitted The Pulse of Life, a bold video presentation which draws inspiration from the moment a swimmer gains focus on the challenge ahead prior to entering the pool. Shown on two screens facing one another, the first video features swimmers going through their mental preparations ahead of the race, with footage shown opposite replicating their vision and hopes of a successful swim in the form of slow motion race footage. The presentation forms an inspirational and inventive feature which echoes Speedo's drive to continue to innovate and achieve future success. The designs produced by the winning students were hailed by David Robinson, President of Speedo International, who said: "The move to our new global headquarters reflects Speedo's commitment and ambition to be the best in the world.
