Enterprising, and ambitious, I am an energetic team player, diligent, personable and an idea-generator. I have three years’ experience in media and communications across print, digital and OOH. I also have a proven track record in building successful internal and client relationships from start to finish.
My current role is a hybrid of account and project management and strategy for a range of clients: WWF, MNDA, Plan International UK and LSE to name a few. Taking a holistic approach, I will take a project from the beginning, through to planning and strategy, briefing in the design team, while collaborating with both the creative team and project stakeholders throughout. Particular highlights have been growing our relationship with WWF by 50% as well as winning pitches for new clients (most recent examples are: Scope and LandAid). Internally, I also take ownership of various responsibilities such as: the agency’s marketing and PR strategy, which up till now, has mainly consisted of building our social media presence, copywriting for blog posts and newsletters, and raising brand awareness through content partnerships and events. Since implementing our new inbound marketing strategy I have increased our engagement rate on Twitter and Linkedin by 20% and 30% respectively. Our web traffic has also increased by roughly 10% through social traffic alone. Studio management and financial forecasting also fall under my remit.
Sales and Marketing account manager with experience in digital pure-play. My responsibilities entailed retaining key accounts (MSN, AOL, Yahoo), while identifying and pitching to new, Tier 1 clients (London Midland, Sony Entertainment, Zenith) as well as advising on clients’ content strategies across social, web and other digital channels. Highlights were identifying new markets following the launch of PA’s new digital product range. Of particular note was establishing relationships within the OOH industry, growing existing accounts such as JC Decaux as well as winning the Limited Space account, getting involved in the creative process and translating client briefs for internal purposes.
Dealing largely with PA’s non-media clients, I targeted and managed a whole range of customers from PR companies and banks, to charities and government organisations. Conversations generally involved consulting on communications and PR strategy and the role itself was highly active, with a lot of importance placed on generating revenue through new business sales.
Researched, planned and authored 8,000 word dissertation on Italian women’s fashion in the early 50’s as a cultural study of their position in society- managed deadlines, liaised with dissertation supervisor and developed analytical and research skills by successfully obtaining access to the Florence State Archives. I also spent a year living in Egypt learning Egyptian dialect.
