I am a graphic designer and illustrator currently based in London. Over the past two years I have gained experience both in-house and on a freelance basis, producing work across a wide range of media, including branding and visual identity, marketing, web design, stationery, and packaging. I’m a self-taught designer with an academic background in History, something that has helped instil in me a love of story-telling and strategic thinking in design.

The visual identity revolves around the graphic device of ‘wishing stones’ – in which veins of quartz form when the rock cracks under tectonic pressure – a symbol for the major turning points in life a celebrant supports. The blind embossing of the wordmark reflects the role of the celebrant as a ceremony officiator: a warm, dependable and yet subtle presence.
- BRASHVisual identity, stationery and posters for BRASH, a theatre company based in Newcastle. BRASH, which aims to represent and celebrate the voices of young women in the North East of England, is ‘bolshie, radical and assertive’. The visual identity reflects this, utilising a bold, uncompromising wordmark and striking colour palette.

The poster pokes fun at both those articles and my reaction to them, balanci
