A highly enthusiastic, passionate and organised creative. With a background in the arts, fashion, events and marketing, I have a wide cross section of interests that make me easily adaptable to change, extremely quick to learn new skills and thrive on any challenge thrown my way.
Currently I am freelancing for various companies, undertaking roles in graphic design, digital marketing and web administration.
I am always looking for new projects to not only showcase my skills but allow me to learn many more.
Graphic design experience:
I have been making graphics for over 10 years, first as a personal hobby and then on paid projects. As you can see from my portfolio, my skill set and experience is very diverse. I have worked with wedding venues, comedians at the Edinburgh Festival, greetings card companies, bowling alleys, theatre companies, restaurants, bakers, a fitness charity, a Chamber of Commerce, independent IT specialists, a craft market.... to name but a few.
Marketing experience:
With over 10 years experience in marketing roles, my skills include an ability to:
- write engaging and creative copy for a multitude of promotional and marketing purposes adapting easily to in house styles and branding
- write and deliver marketing, communications and social media plans and campaigns
- use social media across multiple platforms with proven success at raising audience engagement and interaction
- use Google and Twitter analytics to measure trends, engagement levels and interaction
- produce graphic design for marketing material and websites
- use Wordpress, Wix and Webflow, including SEO, editing posts, pages, widgets, banners, slideshows and some HTML coding
- deliver email campaigns and newsletters through Mailchimp
- set up and maintain event ticketing systems through Eventbrite and TicketTailor
- thoroughly research target audiences and gain valuable market research through surveys and customer feedback
- write and deliver concise reports with key headline results
- excellently communicate via the written word, telephone conversation and face to face
- work well with a team of others, large or small, recognising strengths in others and helping whenever I can

- Christmas Present CommissionI was commissioned to create the illustrations for this present for my partner Nattie's grandmother. All the items on here were things that reminded Nattie of her nan Bubbles growing up. This piece was dear to my heart as I know how personal and heartfelt this was to her and to see the smile on Bubbles face when she opened it on Christmas day was priceless and made it completely worth it.
