About me
I’m Natalie. An Irish-Australian living in the UK. I’m a graphic designer/all-round creative with a life-long love of visual storytelling. After graduating with a Bachelor of Interactive Visual Design, I spent my formative years as a Graphic Designer for Australia’s biggest theme park/entertainment company. No day was the same and that’s exactly how I liked it. After that London called and I made the big leap across the ocean to chase my dream of working in film, tv and games. I feel really lucky to have worked with some amazing entertainment brands such as Warner Bros, Nickelodeon, DC Comics and Ubisoft. Creating for all sorts of advertising, branding, film and social media projects.

  • Sea World Carnivale Creative Campaign
    Sea World Carnivale Creative CampaignI’ll always remember this project fondly as it was my first big art director role in collaboration with the very talented Lauren Gibson. We were tasked to design and oversee the creative campaign for Sea World’s annual night time event Carnivale. I think we did a pretty good job because we were asked back for a second year in a row.     Scooby Doo Spooky Coaster - TVCMy childhood self would have been super jealous that I got to work with Scooby-Doo! In just under 4 months I helped bring the television commercial to life and promote the scooby-doo spooky coaster’s re-opening. A tricky task, because the ride itself was under such heavy refurbishment it meant we had to build 90% of the ad using visual effects.     DC Rivals Social Media VideosA self initiated project, I pitched to animate the 2D artwork from the new DC Rivals HyperCoaster located at Warner Bros. Movie World Australia. These were used to announce the backstories of the greatest DC Rivals across Movie World’s social channels. Using a parallax effect, each artwork was developed into short, shareable, looping video content. Artwork provided by DC Comics

    Memories that last - TVCThe brief called for a creative way to integrate Village Roadshow's brand ambassador and Olympian/World Champion Sally Pearson into the 2018 marketing strategy. Sally Pearson is a Gold Coast girl at heart and like many Gold Coasters she grew up visiting the Theme Parks. We saw this as a opportunity to create a story that evokes the nostalgic feeling of visiting a theme park - the feeling of being a kid again. As part of the creative team, I work closely alongside Art Directors, Producers and Account Managers to develop high quality, original and strategic design content for client campaigns and pitch presentations. I also support the design needs of new business delivering presentation decks, infographics, media kits, mockups and event collateral that inform, inspire and win new business. Conceptually minded with a strong digital understanding, I aim to deliver a variety of design solutions that are innovative, eye catching and remain a head of digital and social trends.

I was given the opportunity to create rich & engaging content for a variety of existing brands, new attractions & campaign initiatives that spanned across digital, print, video, motion & broadcast (TVC). It was my job to bring creative concepts to life, leading & managing assigned projects to ensure quality & meet set deadlines. This meant presenting ideas & concepts, delivering content for social media, web, digital display & print advertising, developing style guides & brand identities and art directing photoshoots & video productions.
