I am a music graduate from The University of Sussex. I am a classically trained singer and harpist. I have lots of experience in the customer service industry and as a supervisor.
In charge of making cards and wrapping prints for sale at exhibitions and galleries. Assisting in setting up and packing down exhibitions. Serving customers and providing information at exhibitions and events.
Serving as waiting and bar staff at various events including weddings, private parties, or corporate functions. Learning to adapt to different working environments with different products and staff while maintaining a consistent level of customer service and product knowledge.
Setting up and insuring the smooth running of the cafe and bars across all three venues of the Brighton’s leading multi-arts performance venue for a variety of events including classical concerts, comedy, music gigs, or corporate functions as well as at the Brighton Festival and The Great Escape Festival. Organising staff and dealing with any issues that occur throughout the shift e.g. with staff, tills, or customers as well as serving customers behind the bar and cafe at high pressure times. Preparing stock lists and maintaining a fully stocked bar and cafe, changing barrels and turning the cellar on and off. Preparing the tills at the start of each shift and cashing up at the end of the night. Ensuring all fridges and the cellar are locked and the bar, cafe, and kitchen are tidy at the end of each shift.
Serving drinks behind the bar, selling tickets, or stewarding at a variety of performance events and film screenings. Working as part of a volunteer collective in the general running of The Cube.

First Class degree with the David Osmond-Smith award for the best music dissertation, an award for the highest mark in a music major option, and the Sir Thomas Beecham Scholarship for outstanding academic work and contribution to music in general.
