House of 27 is a digital PR and Social Media. agency representing and developing the media careers of celebrity, music and fashion talent, events and brands. Clients include Clean Bandit, AlunaGeorge, Lana Del Rey, The Libertines, Dua Lipa, Bondax and Angus and Julia Stone. Director duties- managing company growth, HR, accounting, implementing targets for all staff and monitoring industry trends/ demands, Digital PR Manager- liaising with the media to execute successful digital media campaigns for clients. Duties include networking with the online media industry, pitching for new business and trend analysis.
Developed digital PR for the artists signed to the main Play it Again Sam label, plus sub labels on the main PIAS distribution roster. Clients included artists such as Grace Jones, Enter Shikari (their highest charting #4 charting record), Young Guns and De La Soul.
Specialised in discovering unsigned artists in their development stages. I scouted Lana Del Rey, AlunaGeorge and The Drums in their formative pre-record deal stages and began developing their digital PR, and all of these artists went on to sign deals with major labels. Other campaigns to note include Sia, Alex Winston and The Pains of Being Pure at Heart. I also managed the booking of live talent for events in the UK and at SXSW Festival (Austin, Texas) 2009 under the Anorak brand, was responsible for the VIP guestlist, artist liaison and promoting the event through the media. Liaised with the Buying department to lead marketing campaigns to oversee store launches across the UK and implemented promotion initiatives in existing stores. Cultivated print national and regional press relations including the organisation of press days, developing strategies to enhance the profile of the brand in relevant audiences.
