  • Bar / Distillery Branding
Bar / Distillery BrandingMaria and Patrick are straight talkers. To get to the point, they’ve basically just opened London’s most exciting bar. Not only that, they distill all their own spirits with a passion verging on obsession. Whilst they love their craft, Maria and Patrick wanted their branding to differentiate them from the deluge of overly ernest alcohol artisans. The core design device is a distillation of text down to its essence. Shown across their bar branding, poster set and packaging, this concept cuts to the chase. Additionally, printing the labels directly onto the front and back of the glass bottles allows the two layers of text to be separated naturally by the spirits themselves. • Issues Campaign
Issues CampaignA lighthearted campaign on the surface, Perfectly Flawed aims to subtly change the way shoppers think about the immaculate fruit and veg they purchase without a second thought. Supermarkets’ dishearteningly high rejection rate for imperfect produce is blamed on the consumers, so this new drive aims to make sure the customer is no longer an excuse by driving a nationwide petition. The design takes in a wide array of influences, ranging from Dove’s campaign for real beauty to the current backlash against impossible ideals created via clever photoshopping. The campaign shows ugly fruit and veg in an anthropomorphised way to make people think twice before instinctively recoiling from misshapen foods. Student work at Shillington College
  • Festival Branding
Festival BrandingBreak Build is a cutting edge sound art festival taking place in Seoul’s hippest university and is ideal for those who think drawings and music are just a little too obvious. The concept behind the event is that symbolic sounds are taken apart and then constructed into new forms that transcend barriers of language or prior experience. Holding true to the event’s dual language branding, the posters and brochure are designed to be equally accessible for both English and Korean language speakers. Student work at Shillington College
