Buyers Assistant
• Managing the product development of Laura Ashley's Mirrors (which is an Assistant Buyer’s department), I develop new mirrors which embody the company's branding and appeal to our customers
• Communicate and strengthen relationships with our suppliers from the UK, Europe and the Far East to ensure we are upholding the Laura Ashley design, value, and quality.
• Manage the majority of the administration work for the Furniture department in London, liaising with our administration team in Wales, our quality technologist and our merchandisers
• Managed two product ranges within the Seasonal Gift team liaising with suppliers, technologists and merchandisers to manage cost expenditures and product development.
• Coordinated a still life photo shoot for Look Book for the company’s International Franchise Catalogue
• Directed a photographer and three additional team members to cover 6 different stories and 15 shots. The Look Book was used for SS16’s 5 departments of Home Furnishings and I used creative direction to maximize each story’s products.
• Taught myself how to use InDesign and Photoshop and was able to execute and create the new template for future Look Books.
• Held team meetings and managed 7 departments to convey information between the Buying and Franchise Department working closely with Senior Management

• Extensive diary management for the Joint COO
• Corresponded with customers, clients, and partners on behalf of the Joint COO
• Coordinated presentations and executive reports for UK and international sectors on behalf of the Joint COO
• Attended Board Meetings, Brand Meetings and Trading Meetings, taking minutes and conveying information from the Joint COO
• Generated and launched the company’s first internal weekly Press Communications pack, working closely with the Press and Social Media Department.
