About me
Having worked as a trainee copywriter at TMW, the award-winning digital and direct agency, I’m now looking for exciting opportunities to continue my progression. My experience covers writing for eCRM (email newsletters for Unilever brands, like Magnum and Stork) and social campaigns for FMCG brands, such as Air Wick. I’ve also written the digital hub for the latest Clearasil twitter-powered campaign ‘Selfie Face Off’. Before working in advertising, I spent a few years working in Film & TV where I honed my scriptwriting skills. I can now bring this knowledge to bear on creating powerful online content for brands. I thrive within a team, I’m always hungry to learn and create award - winning work, I’m extremely hard working and will endeavour to complete each task to the best of my ability.
Projects
  • Magnum Marc de champagne
Magnum Marc de champagneProblem: ‘Magnum’ had reached a milestone anniversary of twenty five years. Silver is a traditional gift for this anniversary so ‘Magnum’ thought that creating a silver ‘Marc de Champagne’ ice cream would be a fitting gift to their target market. Objective: Increase interaction between the brand and their target market via direct mail. Solution: An interactive game was created encouraging the player to join the ‘internet’s biggest party’. The brand were also pushing the #magnumdresscode compet
  • AirWick
AirWickAirwick Problem: ‘Airwick’ had released the new ‘national parks collection’, which featured scents from four of the most well known national parks is the uk. Objective: To encourage their Facebook followers to buy the new fragrances from this collection. Solution: Tap into the imagination of the their target market by creating nostalgic, inspiring Facebook posts.
  • Clearasil
ClearasilClearasil (‘Selfie face\off’) Problem: With so many skin care products on the market ‘Clearasil’ were finding it difficult to stay current with their young target market. Objective: Find a way of creating buzz around their latest range of products. Bridge the gap between ‘Clearasil’ and their target market by increasing interaction. Solution: ‘Selfie face\off’ was born. A large screen was set up outside Westfield Shepherd’s Bush. People were then encouraged to take a selfie and tweet it using the hashtag #ShowYourFace If chosen, the picture would be shown on the big screen, which was then shared via social networks. This ultimately created web exposure for the brand. I wrote the copy for the facebook posts (on image and description) in the lead up to this event.

Whilst working as a Production Coordinator ‘creative management’ was a key skill when unexpected problems would arise. Understanding exactly what the director, actors, producers, other members of the crew needed was essential and something I excelled at given my creative tendencies.
