Acting as main support to Frontline Recordings department; arranging planning meetings, taking minutes in weekly label meeting and other conferences where applicable, design and collate release schedule, regular research tasks on Chartmetric/OCC etc, update artist one sheets, distribute promo CDs to key contacts, send out watermarked audio through Promo Jukebox, put together promo schedules and organise travel/accommodation for artists/management etc, compiling merch sales information for Lightning Live for upcoming tours, looking after guest lists for relevant projects, sending out daily sales flashes/end of week charts from OCC, stay up to date with radio playlists and distribute weekly update on BMG featured artists, attending BMG gigs and supporting relevant staff, also supporting digital marketing team.
Admin duties, generating contracts and sending to relevant contacts, answering the phones and passing on messages via internal messaging system, inputting ticket figures into Excel sheets, uploading settlements onto internal booking system, creating avails sheets for artists' tours, meeting and greeting clients/visitors.
Twitter and Facebook scheduling, writing press releases, sourcing support acts for gigs, acting as a rep at One Inch Badge shows across Brighton, creating Facebook adverts and events, writing and boosting Facebook posts/events, contacting media publications, data entry, assisting with ticketing duties, updating website using basic HTML, adding contacts to mailing list utilising YMLP, creating/updating Spotify playlists, venue checklist, creating Powerpoint presentations listing upcoming shows.
Writing frequent blog posts on Wordpress, social media content, working at events representing the company (e.g. Hospitality's Midsummer Special), researching potential partners/clients, creating Excel spreadsheets comparing current competition, basic Photoshop based tasks, general point of contact.
