  • Soviet Space Dogs Book
Soviet Space Dogs BookThis book is about the Soviet Space Dogs of the 1950's and 60's. These brave dogs were sent into orbit by the USSR before humans entered space. Their stories are fascinating and tragic and this book tells the story of one of the lesser known parts of the Space race. The illustrations are inspired by Soviet posters and illustrations as well as retro matchboxes from the time. Screenprinting and risograph was a big inspiration for this project, as I wanted to replicate the look for this book.
  • Golden: Animated Film Concept Art
Golden: Animated Film Concept ArtThis project is visual development for an animated short film. For this project, I created possible screenshots, character and expression sheets. Golden tells the story of Teddy, a dissatisfied office worker who is unhappy with his professional life. He vents his anger using his drumming, as it's his only creative outlet, and would rather pursue a career in music. He rediscovers his love of music through a new co-worker named Goldie and the two slowly fall in love.
