The purpose being to create positive social impact for the sustainability, education and healthcare sectors, across brand, print and digital (to name a few!). As one person, I liaise with clients and lead projects, project manage in order to meet deadlines (interim and final), strategise and carry projects from the initial discussion and ideation stages, all the way to the design, production and maintenance of collateral. A role as a designer at a design and communications agency that focused on enabling clients to create impact and take positive action for a sustainable future. My role was incredibly diverse and meant that I worked across many specialisms with the rest of the team to help fulfil the client’s needs. The team and I supported each other as much a possible, with myself liaising with the lead designer, creative director, and project manager to ensure that project delivery was efficient and of high quality. I also had opportunities to work independently to lead some projects and hold client meetings to gain appropriate feedback where possible.
This includes (but not limited to): designing and architecting websites for Wordpress, refreshing brand identities, creating publications/reports for print and digital, holding a workshop, and creating and building Powerpoint templates when need be.
We also held a bi-annual forum called ‘Change/Maker’. This meant collaborating closely with others in the team to event manage. We invited guest speakers to the forum to discuss topics within a magazine we would launch on the same night. This meant liaising with these speakers before the event, building the event space and designing the surround collateral, and also taking a front-facing role on the night to ensure guests to the forum felt welcome. Feedback from these events were always incredibly positive.
