My name is Nathan Johnston and I’m a freelance writer.
I write game storylines, characters and dialogue. I also consider narrative design elements such as worldbuilding, environmental storytelling and integrating story with game mechanics.
Although I am new to the industry, I have previous project experience as an engineer, so you can rely on me to communicate effectively and respect your project and its deadlines. I started writing a few years ago in order to better understand and to give a voice to some personal issues I was having at the time, so my characters always feel personal and relatable, and the stories told through them and their dialogue are always believable as a result.
