I am currently the client, gallery and artist co-ordinator for Catherine Loewe Contemporary. I compile artist lists, assist in organising exhibitions, prepare gallery spaces, communicate with artists and their estates, commission pieces and assist in curating public and private collections.
I catalogued and researched rare books and manuscripts. During my time at Bernard Quaritch I independently created two catalogues and completed a 20 year backlog of stock. I wrote item descriptions, researched provenance, communicated with clients (virtually and in person) and helped with day-to-day tasks such as re-framing photographs, doing consultations and attending auctions.
I was responsible for showing Cartier’s most exclusive clients and loyal customers, in both English and Arabic, round the ‘Cartier in Motion’ exhibition at the Design Museum. Working a client-facing role for Cartier’s reputable and renowned heritage department has honed my impeccable customer service (useful when interacting with clients, colleagues, benefactors, sponsors or answering enquiries) and ability to work to tight deadlines. Indeed, I thrive when working both alone and as part of a team due to my personable, confident, mature and good humoured nature. I offered private guided tours for which I memorised the entirety of Cartier's history as a brand (date and price of every historic artefact included). I went over and beyond maintaining excellent client relationships by revitalising the interest of old clients in the brand and introducing entirely new clients to Cartier. I was central to ensuring the success of events such as the opening party and the evening exhibition showing because I acted as a brand ambassador as well as offering information packed, entertaining and fluent tours tailored to each client's tastes.
