  • At this art boutique I was responsible for bringing the new business to the attention of similar art locations in the area. I wrote blog posts about new artists and documented the available stock on the website, photographing and uploading any new products that we received. I was given the responsibility of designing the window displays and dressing the mannequins as well as designing the display of products within the shop space. I spent a lot of time on the shop floor engaging with customers from different countries and having to explain to them in a variety of languages the concept of the brand and assist them in finding what they wanted. I also translated many documents between French and English to enhance the boutique’s international branding.

  • At Art Naked, my responsibilities are varied and range from research based work, scouting local and international artistic talents and aiding with the organisation of art and cultural events. I assisted with the promotion of events by writing articles and connecting with student media to advertise appropriate art events. I aided in administrative tasks such as the creating artist contracts as well as working with images on Photoshop to create ones which suited the company's needs. I updated the website with relevant information, documenting all past and future events.

  • At this Art Centre I aided with administrative tasks such as the organisation and translation of documents to promote the current Arte Povera exhibition.   • At this Marseille art gallery I worked very closely with the gallerist to prepare for the next exhibition both in terms of planning and administration. I learnt valuable lessons in art communication, presentation and upkeep and guided visitors around the gallery explaining both the artists and their pieces in a variety of languages. I was also given the responsibility of aiding in the curation of the paintings. I played a very active role in the preparation of the exhibition’s new catalogue translating all of the French documents into English.
