  • Sole in-house graphic designer / artworker for this leading UK & European merchandise company. I created all graphic output with the help of freelancers and interns. The role was extremely fast paced due to the ever-moving nature of the touring artist business. - Face to face presentations and brainstorming with clients - bands, artists, managers, event staff, production houses, booking agents and promoters - Communication with factories, garment production companies, printers, and other contractors in order to maintain quality levels and minimise production wait times - Graphic print design for merchandise products sold at events and online - t shirts, record bags, jackets, posters, programmes, stickers, as well special promotional items for record releases, tickets and promotional / press ads - Art direction / mood board / retail research - selecting and managing interns and freelancers - Design of company website - Occasional sales on sales stands at events I have freelanced for them ever since in various forms. The Firebrand design dept. eventually went standalone and is now known as The Right Side.
