About me
I am a multi media artist working at the intersection between art, science & technology. My practice is highly focused in genetics, evolution and artificial intelligence. I have worked with institutions such as The Royal Society, Tate Exchange, The Francis Crick Institute, University of East Anglia, University College London and Cardiff University. I am co-creator of Phenotypica, an initiative for art and science. I am also a freelance graphic designer & creative artworker, experienced in printing. My knowledge as a printer is highy valuable for graphic design and artworking, as I understand how jobs are processed in the printing department and how they need to properly be prepared for printing. I have over seven years of experience as a freelance and permanent roles, both working in-house and remotely.

  • Elmala3ien
Elmala3ienNeus Torres Tamarit's first collaboration as an art director with Miguel Ángel Font Bisier. In this short horror film, Neus Torres Tamarit created the visual concept for the scenes and dressed the sets. She used her artistic skills to make the mask, central prop of the short film, which she constructed with plaster bandages and real teeth, inspired by the Egyptian mummies. Other elements that Neus made for the short film include; a ring, drawings for the bedroom set, staircase set and living room set. Her artwork entitled 'Mira'm als ulls' (Look at my Eyes) was used as part of the decoration in one of the sets, and animated afterwards.
  • Aeterna
AeternaAeterna, Neus Torres Tamarit's second collaboration as art director with Miguel Ángel Font Bisier. Neus created the scenes design with concept sketches and visuals and dressed the set. In this short fashion film, Neus collaborated with Francis Montesinos, a renowned Spanish fashion designer, using a selection of textiles designed by him to create and dress the set. This short film has been presented at La Jolla International Fashion Film Festival at Los Angeles and Valencia fashion Week 2014.

The design element in film and television has always played a major part in any production. The designer's role is crucial to the invention of the world that we see on screen, from the recreation of a specific period in history, authentic present day, or the innovative sculptural design involved in light entertainment, comedy, arts, music or game shows. Taught by: Clara Zita.
