With six years experience working in a dedicated creative role, I have for the duration of this period been involved in developing and nurturing the Second Home company brand identity (working closely with co-founders)|, leading up an exciting team of designers, copyrighters, photographers and film makers. The primary aim of my role is to consider bold and innovative approaches, to apply to specific project briefs – surveying and merging concepts and ideas from a broad spectrum of disciplines including: digital design, print, fashion, typography, art and film – to present exciting on-brand design solutions with clear clever messaging. This involves overseeing the design and publication of a range of different campaigns across digital and print media for Second Home and their sub brand Libreria. Overseeing creative campaigns for a world class cultural programme across all our sites – including London, Lisbon and LA – including social content and activation ideas – working with team members to deliver on time, on strategy and within budget.

In my current role as Graphic designer at Second Home, I’m involved in crafting the creative vision for the brand alongside the founders and the marketing director. This includes creating assets and art directing design elements across the marketing mix – supplying multiple departments with digital and printed assets that fit within our set artistic framework. I support the social, brand and growth managers by responding to briefs – creatively directing and implementing projects in particular for social media, website, digital and print. This experience has given me the confidence to creatively direct and help progress the creative output of those around me.
