Key achievements within this role: • Securing a partnership with an innovative/quirky brand to bring commercial awareness to both and generate revenue for the company. • Creating an experimental, creative experience that will also be a first for any department store. This will therefore make Harvey Nichols a talking piece when it launches creating a buzz and solidifying the store as a multi dimensional destination spot.

      • • Drove and maximised sales on all 29 beauty (skincare and colour) counters and all 19 perfumery houses. • Ensured the satisfaction of all customers by ensuring that prompt, courteous and efficient service was given by my team, at all times. • Actively took accountability for finding a resolution to customer queries and complaints, either verbal or written, in a professional manner, ensuring that communication was maintained with the customer at all times. • Provided on going training and coaching for my team to ensure effective resolution of customer complaints and queries with minimum cost to the business. • Ensured stock accuracy through up to date ticketing, making sure stock availability reports matched physical stock holding and correcting any negative stock issues. • Provided detailed trade reports to line manager, buying team and senior personnel. • Liaised with Business/area managers on a regular basis, to gain an understanding of stock movement, customer feedback, brand activity, team dynamic, sales analysis and reviewed business plans. • Made sure each promotional event taking place in the Beauty Lounge event space had a smooth and successful launch. • Ensured all Health and Safety requirements were adhered to and maintained creating a safe environment for customers, staff and suppliers. • Ensured that site KPI’s were achieved. Key achievements within this role: • Playing such an integral role in the successful launch of our new menswear department that I was requested to transfer and launch our new ground floor beauty and perfumery department. Therefore going from managing a team of 12 members of staff to over 100 members of staff per day. • Seeing an increase of profit versus last year week after week.

      • The joint degree I obtained included a variety of different modules, which attempted to cover all aspects of Advertising and Marketing. These included modules such as: - Principles of Marketing- this allowed me to gain an understanding of the basic concepts of marketing, Business Strategy- this module taught me the specific methods a business may use, and Public Relations- this introduced the basic concept of PR, allowing me to observe its role in the business world. The Digital Media half consisted of modules that taught the basics of digital editing (Such as animation, picture editing, video editing and online game creation).
