• A junior role in the Red Bull Culture Marketing department, my role was to research and develop new contacts within London’s emerging cultural scenes, ensuring that they were at the forefront of cultural innovation and driving new ideas forward. • Using my insight to create weekly and monthly presentations detailing the latest advancements in the music, fashion and arts scenes in London, as well as competitor reviews and consumer insight and trends, utilizing my clear understanding of brands and how they operate within the fashion, music and art scenes with an appreciation of current consumer behaviour trends. • Assisting the team in logistics and event production in the lead up to large scale culture events while also supporting live events across a variety of roles, whether that be as a production runner or artist liaison. • Utilizing my cultural expertise to provide suggestions for various projects, whether that be one-off projects and line-ups to longer-term artist-brand relationships. • Networking and developing credible new contacts across London’s cultural landscape from the worlds of music, fashion and art and introducing them to the world of Red Bull. • Product seeding – this involved meeting new contacts and allowing Red Bull to be available and visible at exclusive events and in hard to reach scenes from shows during London Fashion Week to Frieze Week exhibitions.
• Responsible for updating the website by correctly uploading and maintaining web assets through a Content Management System, including audio products such as album and single releases to merchandise, magazines and audio equipment. • Assisting with digital marketing by suggesting and researching website features, contributing to the content weekly samplers by selecting specific records to highlight and submitting questions for artist interviews. • Worked within a team on the curation, upkeep and presentation of the website, specifically by constructing genre specific content streams in collaboration with other members of the team which could then used as marketing assets in conjunction with releases or other features. • The taking of product images, manipulation of these images using Photoshop to compliment the layout of the site and also generate custom banners for certain web pages. • Worked on the generation of custom webpages for editorial content such as weekly samplers and podcasts. • Enhanced the S.E.O of certain features (such as podcasts) and pages by methodically implementing Facebook Opengraph meta-tags. • Worked in the stock room where emphasis was placed in packaging and getting items ready for delivery in a timely and organized fashion.
• Researching prospective retail stores and buyers for new European territories. • Heavily involved in the development of pop-up shops and sample sales. Planned and promoted events through social media accounts and communicated with influential online publications, as well as having the responsibility of relocating, organizing and pricing stock through collaborating with colleagues. • Responsible for showroom presentation, which involved meticulous maintenance of both the clothing and electronic goods such as Beats by Dre, this job was extended to volunteering in the London trade-show “Jacket Required”, which vastly improved my attention to detail. • Greeted visitors and buyers as they entered the showroom and responding to customer calls/returns, enhancing interpersonal and communication skills. • Made frequent trips to the warehouse, assisting in the organization of the stock.
