PEN Català, works to promote the freedom of expression and draw attention to editors and journalists in certain countries, such as Russia, Turkey, China and Syria, that have been imprisoned or killed for their journalistic work. I worked with PEN Catala to edit and proofread all texts produced in English as well as assisting with EU project proposals. Additional I interviewed writers and poets that came to Barcelona, Spain through the ICORN Cities of refuge programme.

The International Political Forum is a non-partisan platform for politically engaged young people around the world. Inspiring a greater understanding and respect for the complexity of our world. Here I worked to edit and publish news stories daily from young writers as well as commissioning specific stories.
The Frontline Club is an independent club for journalists, rooted in the freelance video news industry. They hold various talks and film screenings on current issues, bringing together some of the world’s best journalists, photographers and filmmakers. Here I worked to archive news footage in preparation for the files to handed over to the British Library. Additionally I worked as an events assistant in the evening, assisting with the evening talks and film screenings on world politics and current events.
