As a Design Project Manager for an Events agency, the thrill of coming up with new ideas is what motivates and drives me. It is impossible to compare the sense of achievement you feel when the design you have worked tirelessly on finally comes to fruition for others to experience.
Work history
Design Project Manager
An integral part of a small creative team responsible for transforming iconic venues across London and further afield. Working in a fast paced environment on a wide range of event projects for both corporate and private clients.
Responsibilities -
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Create mood boards, 3D visuals, site visits and quotes.
- Specify, source and purchase furniture, lighting and various dressing items.
- Liase between set build teams and suppliers throughout the project timeline.
- A key part in managing the on site install - directing staff, problem solving and dressing the space whilst being aware of health and safety guidelines.
- Design and preparation of both large and small scale artwork
- Manage and organise the logistic elements of the event install both on and off site - responsible for booking own crew, freelancers and transport.
