UX Designer and Illustrator with an extensive background in visual design. I now wish to use the skills as a designer that I have gathered throughout the years and push them forward to what I know believe to be the future of design; user-based and researched design. Having had a highly creative background and having just completed a User Experience Design Immersive course at General Assembly in London, UK, I am incredibly eager to merge the two and become a UX Designer in a city where it is at the forefront of the discipline and is currently shaping all of our digital and physical interactions as the worldwide pioneer. Towards the future, not only do I see myself applying the skills that I have gathered throughout my years as a Visual Designer, but being part of the initiators in tech and UX and create digital and physical solutions aimed for the user in a sustainable and responsible manner, where not only do they help the society we live in, but it makes sure that the planet we live in stays habitable for future generations.Locked Pro Plan feature
In the three month immersive, we carried out three concept projects and one live client project in Agile methodologies, exploring and applying UX concepts such as user testing, user interviewing, task analysis, interface design and prototyping amongst others. The Coo App Client project where we took an existing App in its MVP stage and carried out UX/UI design to the desktop platform. The app was developed to help ease communication and planning between parents with kids in schools from the ages of 4 to 10. Instagram Concept feature We created a concept feature for Instagram where artists can use the app to sell their artwork. The feature is installed within the app, in a manner which is consistent to their branding, heuristics and ethos. By adding a button next to their ‘like, comment & share’ icons, which would in fact expand and show artwork inside a specific post, we were able to carry this functionality from end to end. Sainsbury’s Concept microsite This microsite enabled the user to plan their weekly meals by having an integrated calendar. The UX is designed for a clean and clear process in which the user is aware of every input made and can easily add and save meals. Hemingway Concept app First project with General Assembly. Travel app created for Iphone IOS, where the user can explore and travel to certain points within a city where famous authors sat down to write novels or where characters in a book walked or interacted.
Worked closely with directors pulling images and laying out pitch PDFs, where the director pitched the idea and then I design the look and feel around the idea. The clients include McDonald’s, Weight Watchers and Snapchat.
- Designing all of the company's mailouts via Mailchimp, we would be seen by the advertising industry. - Controlling all content on the Riff Raff Films website; online managing of works created by the director roster of the company. - Treatment research, layout and sound design as well as editing mood films for directors Francois Rousselet, Megaforce, The Sacred Egg, Luke Monaghan, AlexandLiane, Ben Reed and Casey + Ewan. Working with PR, releasing music videos and adverts; liasing with commissioners, producers and directors to push new content and aiming to obtain maximum exposure.
