About me

Currently working at TUI UK and Ireland’s head office which is home to Thomson and First Choice. I am able to work by myself or as part of a team and always maintaining a high level of professionalism. Reliable, innovative, hardworking and adaptable are the attributes that have been associated to my work methodology. I can take the framework of a brief and think around it; I can work with cutting-edge technology and craft values. Understanding a project and the dynamics behind the requirements are important to me. This would involve knowing what the client requires by liaising with them, identifying the target market, as well as any restrictions that are in place. Constantly craving for new knowledge and skills I have begun to familiarise myself with web design as I understand that as a designer I need to keep on top of the changing trends and I need to have a varied skill base if I want to be successful as a Designer...and I do, as I feel my experience is varied working in packaging, graphics and web. I have over 7 years commercial experience working in design consultancies and studios. Proficient working on either Apple Mac or PC platforms using Creative Suite 5.

TUI UK and Ireland

  • Predominantly working on the Thomson side of things, maintaining brand identity. Campaign design work for TUI UK & Ireland in the head office, producing eye-catching shop window concepts and displays, deal cards, hanging banners, posters, tri-towers, savant stands and A-frames has been worked on. As well as assisting in the production of holiday brochures, overseas material and ad hoc design pieces such as the inflight magazine, Annual event collatoral for staff as well as for retail shops for specific sales and events, a video to be screened in-store for particular differenciated products within the Thomson and First Choice portfolio. Coming up with eye-catching concepts for TUI UK’s retail needs. Liaising with key stakeholders on sign-off. Alternating between working independently and a part of a team. Managing twice-weekly shop-situ updates, monthly campaigns and tri-yearly major campaigns as well as a turn of year campaign making use of print and packaging processes.
