About me
An enthusiastic and motivated person with excellent knowledge and a working understanding of music, the music technology used within live and studio environments and of the music industry. Strong experience working in a variety of areas across the music industry, as well as the ability to work efficiently when alone and as a part of a wider team. For over 10 years I have worked alongside my family organising events on the Isle of Wight. Together we founded the Rhythmtree Festival (departed in 2014,) Mondomix, Ryde Aspire and Freshwater Live. Over the years we have hosted major artists such as Ginger Baker, Vieux Farka Touré, Tippa Irie, Playing For Change, Cornell Campbell, Achorsong and many more. As a family we both organise and deliver the events from the booking of artists and promotion through to building the site, running the bars and food outlets, rigging and running the stages over the duration of the events. We have been successful in our applications for funding from the Arts Council England on three separate occasions to delver the Mondomix Festival and associated events, as well as receiving funding from Ryde town council to host events in the local area. I have been DJing since the age of 15 which has seen me play at major UK venues and international events. I've performed on major stages at festivals such as Bestival, Isle of Wight Festival, Boomtown, Reading Festival and Exit Festival (Serbia) and in major venues like Ministry of Sound, Alexandra Palace, Cuckoo Club and Hush (Koh Samui).

As the manager of LSA it was my duty to oversee the day-to-day running of the business. The position required me to utilise my strong leadership, organisation skills and be highly attentive at all times. Some of my main duties included dealing with new and existing clients, organising and delivering a variety of workshops, hiring and training staff, developing and implementing new courses, ensuring the studios were maintained and the equipment was working and up to date. I worked developing relationships with new customers whilst maintaining good relationships with existing clients. I represented the business when dealing with major brands such as Mixcloud, Dice and Pioneer DJ.
