I am a graphic designer and illustrator with experience in social media and branding. I am currently freelancing as a graphic design for Osstem, and freelancing at MYOO, maintaining their social media campaigns. I have worked remotely for the past two years, which has enabled me to take on various freelance projects with clients such as William Curley and Sculpt The Future. It has also given me the opportunity to move abroad for a year, living and working in South Korea as an English and Art teacher at a private academy. I enjoy the challenge of working in all creative disciplines, and enjoy gaining new skills in the process. I believe my interest in other design areas such as illustration, animation and fashion, help keep me open minded as to how other industries may influence my work. I am currently available for freelance projects or full time positions, and am willing to relocate.
An online environmental magazine that posts content geared towards kickstarting a smarter way of living. Sponsors have included Revo, Leica and Surfrider. Held positions as both a designer and content manager for projects including Plastiki; a boat made from plastic bottles that sailed from San Francisco to Sydney, Articulate; an expedition to the Amazon, and Straw Wars; a campaign to eliminate straws in restaurants. Independently maintained and improved MYOOs multiple social media projects, interacting with supporters, posting relevant content and heading various campaigns such as competitions to keep the audience engaged. I developed the Plastiki social pages, growing our audience to 26000 followers over Facebook and Twitter, in the space of 4 years. Mastered hootsuite to ensure we had posts sent out every day of the week, including days I was not scheduled to work. Worked with our sponsors to create cross promotion content for various expeditions. Kept the team up to date with monthly analytics across all our social platforms. As a designer I have delivered in-house illustrations, campaign identities, educational animations, flyers, web-based competitions and email mailers, regularly liaising with the MD to update on creative direction and working to ensure that all creative aspects contain a cohesive and consistent brand voice. Due to a change in direction, the company has downsized and I currently work freelance.
