BA (Hons) Communication and MediaThe University of Liverpool
     - Liverpool, United Kingdom
During my time at the University of Liverpool, I have collaborated with The Tab Liverpool on fashion editorials and attended meetings, building my knowledge of the UK student market and the sort of content desired by an online student-led publication. My final research project aimed to answer the question “Has Instagram allowed for a change in perception of gay black men within the black community?”. The project focused on Instagram star @blameitonkway and how he used the platform to not only grow his brand (winning a BET social award) but gained public recognition and support from heterosexual black male athletes on various social media platforms. The research project also received the highest mark in the class.
