About me

Ny is a visual artist and Fashion Communication graduate, from the Isle of North Uist in the Outer Hebrides, Scotland. Studying creative courses in North Uist, Glasgow and Galashiels Ny graduated in 2019 with a 2.1. Ny has exhibited and worked with various creative organisations in Scotland and Australia and is now gaining experience to apply to an MSc in Art Psychotherapy. Ny creates mixed media art that explores feminism, gender roles, contemporary culture and society. Through combining vintage and modern imagery she creates a unique aesthetic and visual commentary on the world around us. Passionate about image making, creative direction, publication, events, curation, art in healthcare and social care - Ny is looking for work in the creative industries and opportunity to develop as a visual artist.
