I am an Electronic Engineering (with Audio Visual Systems) Graduate with 1st class honours from The University of Surrey.
I have 3 years of experience in the AV industry, in both Museum and Residential sectors. I have installed large-scale exhibitions in London's most prestigious galleries such at the V&A and British Museum. I have engineered and overseen a number of projects displaying a technical knowledge, attention to details and organisational ability to successfully bring a project to completion.
In addition, I have been involved in a number of personal projects involving elements of AV for festivals, live music events and music videos.
I am a digital artist/VJ with a background in electronics and programming. I have created projection mapped sculptures, interactive lighting installations and original video content for festivals including Beatherder, Shambala and Echo (Croatia). I have also worked frequently with the band Syd Arthur on music videos and live shows.
Work history
CAD Technician
- Canterbury, United KingdomFull Time
Philharmonic AV is a custom AV installer for high-end residential projects. Joining this small company as a CAD technician, I soon took on more responsibilities and became key to engineering and presenting audio visual systems to meet the brief of projects both modest and extravagant. A typical project involved video distribution, multi-room audio, CCTV, automated lighting & blinds, as well as specialist home cinema design and acoustic treatment.
I quickly gained the specialist skills required in the industry and was responsible for both the specification and documentation of the projects, producing schematics, floor-plans and schedules while liaising with other trades such as architects and interior designers to ensure a smooth install and an exceptional end product.
