Philharmonic AV is a custom AV installer for high-end residential projects. Joining this small company as a CAD technician, I soon took on more responsibilities and became key to engineering and presenting audio visual systems to meet the brief of projects both modest and extravagant. A typical project involved video distribution, multi-room audio, CCTV, automated lighting & blinds, as well as specialist home cinema design and acoustic treatment. I quickly gained the specialist skills required in the industry and was responsible for both the specification and documentation of the projects, producing schematics, floor-plans and schedules while liaising with other trades such as architects and interior designers to ensure a smooth install and an exceptional end product.
