I am currently a full time Assistant Manager at Fat Face where I thoroughly enjoy having key responsibility, being there to support my team and achieving customer delight. Working in a management role has taught me to be highly organised, proactive, self-motivated and to be ready for a challenge in an ever changing environment.
My main responsibilities are:
-Driving sales in store by: analysing financial data, utilising trade reports to aid decision making, spotting new opportunities to help exceed KPI’s, leading and motivating the team, coaching and developing new crew members
-Taking ownership of store operations in Managers absence: taking on all responsibilities to ensure continued success of the store in sales, standards and crew
-Strong visual merchandising skills, succesfully planned and implemented sale set ups and phase launches
-Organised and punctual with paperwork/tasks back of house
-Embraced challenges: taken responsibility for driving E-receipts in store. Now at 44% YTD and 12th in the company
-Taking control of health and safety in store, ensuring all procedures are
adhered to at all times to maintain a safe working environment
-Able to demonstrate strong customer service skills and lead by example:
achieved 70% on latest mystery shop

After three weeks, I stepped up to a supervisory level to help manage the store and look after the team. This has allowed me to further develop my customer service and people management skills. I thoroughly enjoyed and thrive on having the responsibility of the store, supporting my team and achieving customer delight by going the extra mile. Being a Supervisor at Fat Face allowed me to understand and develop the knowledge for my next career step into Assistant Manager.
